The School of Missions & Evangelism here at YWAM Thessaloniki focuses on 4 main things...
Leadership training
Evangelism confidence
Missions equipping
Islamic study & Crisis response
SOME is run similarly to a DTS with 12 weeks of lecture and 10-12 weeks of outreach.
​
However the DTS is focused on Knowing God while the SOME equips you to effectively Make God Known.
​
Practical application starts during your SOME lecture phase. You will be engaging in weekly evangelism, working with refugees, and pioneering local discipleship groups.
​
All to equip you in growing your confidence in sharing the Gospel, practical application in relevant context, and experience pioneering new ministries. All of these skills are ESSENTIAL for long term missions.
